Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss has been a country music star for more than 30 years. Her birthplace was in Decatur, Illinois on the 23rd day of July in 1971. LeAnn Kymes and she were among the youngest winners of the Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23rd, 1971) is an American bluegrass and country musician as well as singer. She began her career in the field as a child, when she was a mere 10 years old. In 1987, she released her debut solo album following being signed to Rounder Records. Then, she was invited to be a part of Alison Krauss Union Station, her current band that she sings with. Her debut album as a collective with this group came out in 1989.
