Sofia and Ann

Sofia Pernas was born in Morocco. She moved to California at age five. She grew up primarily within Orange County. She received her graduation at the University of California, San Diego in the year 2015, which was the same year she got her first big break as an actor. Pernas had a few guest appearances on NCIS and Leverage prior to landing the part of Marisa on The Young and the Restless. After having left the soap show in 2016 the actress scored a recurring role on Jane the Virgin as Catalina. The model who is fluent in four languages was later seen on The Brave as Hannah Rivera, The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. She played Lexi Vaziri on Blood & Treasure from 2019 to 2020. Us Weekly confirmed in May 2020 that Pernas has been dating her ex- The Young and the Restless costar Justin Hartley. The romance came after that the This Is Us star split from Chrishell Stause's wife in November 2019. News broke in April 2021, that Pernas and Hartley have recently got married with a private ceremony.
