Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe, a British-Nigerian mixed race child, was born to the family of South London. Her father is a Nigerian-Swiss, as is her mom who's English. She was a student at The Brit School when she was fourteen years old. In London she attended The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting certificate was earned. In her time at the school, she performed in a variety of stage productions such as King Henry V's princess Katherine or Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe began her acting career by starring in a movie titled Storm Damage. Since then, she's made guest appearances on Teachers, Doctors, Casualty, and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's film debut was in Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), with Colin Farrell. After that, she played Elisha in the single-episode BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN which aired in 2007 and she also appeared in six episodes of Trexx as well as Flipside playing Ollie. In 2008, she was cast as Bambi, the lead role in ITV2's drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe also appeared on the comedic How to Lose Friends and Alienate people (2008). Some of her theatre credits are Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) and Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe was cast as Ashley Davenport in ABC's show The Beautiful Life. The two-episode show aired only for two weeks on The CW and then it ended. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge as of February 2011. In May of 2013, it was revealed that Madekwe, who appeared on the show as a series regular for the previous two seasons was to leave the series with a guest appearance on the premiere episode of the season's new episode. Between 2014 and 2016, she starred in Salem in the role of Tituba. Madekwe and her partner who has been with her for a long time, Iddo Goldenberg, were married in June 2012. Both of them have been in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They have also appeared as partners in Salem.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into the extended family of a huge, large. Her four older brothers were also present: twins Todd and Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley's four brothers, who were all extremely active, took part in hockey in the winter months and played baseball in the summer, so she basically grew up in arenas and baseball parks.
