Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco - an Canadian as well as an American artist and singer. She has produced over 20 albums of studio work. Her songs are classified by the label as folk or alternative rock. They also have influences from hip hop music, jazz, and punk. Ani DiFranco was the very first artist to establish her own record label in 1990. Ani is widely considered as a feminist icons. DiFranco's parents, Elizabeth (Ross), a ex-student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Dante Americo DiFranco met each one another while each attending.
