Lis Wiehl (born August 19, 1961) was born on 19 August 1961. She is an American author, and former legal analyst for Fox News.
She previously served as an associate professor of law in the University of Washington Law School. She was a legal commentator on Bill O'Reilly's radio show as well as National Public Radio. Wiehl, who was born and grew up at Yakima within Washington State, was a graduate of Yakima from West Valley High School. She is a graduate of the degree of Bachelor of Arts at Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) in addition to an JD from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl had been the US Attorney. Her role was as the correspondent for legal issues of NPR's All Things Considered. She served as the Chief Investigating Counsel for the Democrats of the House Judiciary Committee, during Clinton's impeachment. She taught law as a tenured professor at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle which she was the manager of the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 through 2001. The analyst was with Fox News from 2001 until the year 2017.
