Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on the 30th of December 1986. Ellie Goulding, a British artist and singer, gained notoriety in the year 2010 when her smash singles Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed attracted the attention of the public. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding is at the forefront of the movement, just like Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap of contemporary mainstream music and of independent, hip-hop that is arty. Her soprano and her ability to write emotionally authentic songs make her unique. She ultimately signed a major-label agreement to Polydor Records and began making preparations to launch her debut album.
