Salma Hayek

SalmaSalma Hayek Pinault born Salma Valgarma Jayek Jimenez (born 2 September 1966)[3][4][5] is a Mexican and American actress as well as film producer. In Mexico she began her career with the role as Teresa in the television show (1989-1991) as well as El Callejon de los Milagros (1995), where she received an Ariel Award. From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999), Dogma (1999) and Desperado (1995) are just some of her many Hollywood credits. Hayek's portrayal as painter Frida Kahlo in the biographical film Frida (2002) and the film she also wrote, made her the first Mexican actress to be recognized for the Academy Award for Best Actress[6Additionally, she was awarded the Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award and British Academy Film Award nominations. Hayek appeared in the action-packed Once Upon a Time in Mexico film in the years following and shifted her focus to producing.
